• 2 6-oz. cans tomato paste
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 28-oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 28-oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp. Bella Garlique or to taste
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • fresh basil, minced (optional)

Bring a large skillet to medium heat and add olive oil. Sauté onions in olive oil until transparent. Add tomato paste and fry for 3 minutes. Add garlic, both cans of tomatoes and 5.25 cups water. Add Bella Garlique, salt, and pepper to taste. Simmer for 1 hour or until flavors have melded. Stir in basil just before serving.
